Professional Involvement

Attorney Elizabeth "Lily" Brown represents clients in whistleblower cases and a wide variety of employment matters. Lily works extensively with people who are the victims of workplace discrimination, including cases involving race discrimination, gender discrimination, sexual harassment and other hostile work environment practices.

Outside the courtroom, Lily has significant experience and training in the use of negotiation, mediation, and arbitration as alternatives to litigation.

Lily's practiced ability in negotiations provides our clients with a competitive edge at the negotiation table. Lily has built a reputation for working tirelessly to successfully settle client disputes.

Community Involvement

Lily is an active member in her community. She is extremely passionate about the value of volunteer work and "giving back" to the community.

Lily participates in a wide variety of community service projects and activities, including Habitat for Humanity, The Caring Kitchen, and other similar community-based activities and programs.

Lily is a member of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers (GAWL) and the Lamar Inn of Court. She helped create the Emory Immigration Law Society, an Emory-based organization focusing on the development of community projects to assist immigrants and U.S. residents of other nationalities in understanding and navigating federal immigration laws and policies.

Bars

Lily is a member of the Georgia State Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Atlanta Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before the state courts of Georgia; the Georgia Court of Appeals; and, the Georgia Supreme Court.

Education

Lily graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Peace Studies. She obtained her J.D. from Emory University School of Law.
